Zombie Rights Protest in San Francisco

Written by Kyle on July 11th, 2009

San Francisco City Hall has been the site of numerous protests over the years and yesterday was just another day of protesting for equal rights for the city, only with a small twist.

In support of S.G. Browne’s new book Breathers: A Zombies Lament, a book about the zombie equality movement, a group of the undead gathered to fight for their rights, chanting in unison “Zombies are people too!”.

Don’t worry, I was there with my camera to capture all the good times.

Loved your video of the Zombies and am enjoying catching up with you (thru video) as you travel this summer. How could you have possibly missed the famous Danville 4th of July parade? Tahoe northshore is a distant second in my book. Have fun!!

  2. Kyle, That’s some first class digital vagabond field reporting! San Francisco is world famous for supporting diversity. But has this tolerance gone too far – one might ask?

I can assure you that if such a rally was held in virtually any other US city these protesters would have been taking head shots from shotguns and deer rifles within minutes.

Thanks for risking your poly sci soaked brain tissue to bring us this cutting edge news.

Be well and keep living large.

i’m sorry you had the chance encounter with my brother in law, Ronnie. I’m even more sorry you were conned by his stories… the only thing he is good at is story telling… It’s true my nephew, Brandon, has CF, however Ronnie isn’t raising money for him or anything other child… and he certainly isnt helping his own child with anything (medicine, food, clothing, etc). Just thought I would let you know the reality behind that “badass” you met… he’s really just an ass…
